    After we reach higher secondary we need to choose between science or social studies. Some schools may require you to choose from grade 9. Each subjects have their own benefits and until now it is still debatable which one is better. You should choose your major based on what you want to take during your college or university. Some would also pick based on what they thought they are better at. These are some of the advantages of science and social studies.

 Most of the people would say that science students have higher skill on counting even though social studies have business and accounting which also requires counting numbers. Science students will do practical work in lab often, so if you were interested it could be a good choice. By learning science, students would understand about natural phenomenon such as how it happens and how does it work. Science students would also have a lot more of major choice to pick in university compared to social. It is easier for science students to enter a social studies major in university compared to social students to enter a science major in university.

Social studies have better skill in socialize with other, so they usually have more friends. By learning social we would more likely to know better about the history of the past. If you are interested on business, lawyer or becoming an entrepreneur social studies is a good choice. Social studies also have less counting so it can be a choice for students which doesn't interested in mathematics.

To sum up, science and social have different advantages you should consider what you are interested in before you pick. If you are not interested in any of them just choose which you are better at in your junior high school because you will learn both of them in junior high school.
